The former Minister Arun Jaitley was admitted to AIIMS. He was found in critical condition at his home on 9th August. He is a lawyer by profession and among the most important people of the BJP cabinet since the first year of Narendra Modi’s rule in India. Arun Jaitley is a 66- year old leader, who has been put under a life support system as suggested from the latest reports.
Arun Jaitley, the former finance minister of India, has been kept under observation by the multidisciplinary team of doctors in AIIMS. Politicians have been rushing to the hospital since this news.
Hospital Reports From New Delhi
The former finance minister of India, Arun Jaitley complained of restlessness and breathlessness. It was revealed from sources that Home minister, Amit Shah and Health minister, Dr. Harsh Vardhan immediately went to the hospital in order to check upon Arun Jaitley’s health condition. It was the Friday night, they got this news of his condition being deteriorated.
No new updates have been issued by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences since his admittance on last Friday. Various ministers and politicians such as, PM Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharam, MOS for Health Ashwini Choubey, BJP Working President JP Nadda, and Loktantrik Janata Dal chief Sharad Yadav too payed a visit to the AIIMS to check upon Arun Jaitley’s health.
Apart from the above, there were Congress leaders too that visited AIIMS in order to enquire about Arun Jaitley’s health condition. Earlier this year, in the month of May, the former Minister was brought there for his treatment. Moreover, he has been continuously monitored by a specialized team of doctors, since the day he got admitted to the hospital.
When it comes to his profession, Arun Jaitley is a lawyer who had been considered as a constant as well as an important part of BJP cabinet from the time Narendra Modi started to rule as a PM. Moreover, he led the finance and defense department and a chief wall to the critical situations coming to the nation.
However, due to Arun Jaitley‘s bad health, he did not contest Lok Sabha Elections in 2019 to the assume. Last year itself, Arun Jaitley underwent a renal Transplant on 14th May. Piyush Goyal filled for his replacement since his bad health condition and frequent absence for the finance ministry department. Arun Jaitley was being absent since April 2018 and was back to the Cabinet again on 23rd August 2018.
In the year September 2014, Arun Jaitley also underwent a Bariatric surgery to rectify his weight which was gained due to his long-term diabetic condition. Following this absence for surgeries, and having some constant major surgeries, it can be probably presumed the reason for his poor health.
