The much-anticipated Bigg Boss 7 Tamil is all set to make its grand premiere on October 1, 2023, at 6 PM. This reality show which has garnered a massive fan base over the years, is returning with its seventh season on Star Vijay and Disney+ Hotstar.
The charismatic host, Kamal Haasan, who has been the face of Bigg Boss Tamil since the first season, will once again grace this season. He is also mainly responsible for the popularity of Bigg Boss in Tamil Nadu. He will also grace the screen with his insightful commentary and firm but fair handling of the contestants.

From the living area to the bedrooms, every corner of the house will be thoughtfully crafted to provide both comfort and intrigue. The houses will boast an array of unique spaces, including a well-equipped kitchen, a luxurious lounge, and a garden area for relaxation and conversations.Small Boss 7 Tamil House
Small Boss House was revealed on the day of the launch day. On day 1, the house captain gets to select 6 housemates from the main house to be shifted to the “small boss house” following a task. Contestants need to overcome certain tasks and missions to re-enter the main house.
Rooms/Areas in the side house include:
- A small confession room
- Single/Shared bedroom consisting only 6 beds
- couches have been replaced with floor mats
- glass to see through the main house
- small outdoor sitting area
- Like Bigg Boss, there will be a voice of Small Boss in a small house and small house contestants are able to hear only that voice.
Bigg Boss 7 Tamil Contestants Rules
Though contestants are living in the house for 100 days, they should obey some rules and it will be strictly monitored by the Bigg Boss Team. Following are some rules to be followed by the contestants:
- The contestants should speak only in Tamil, the language of the show.
- The contestants should be over 18 years old, and physically and mentally fit.
- The contestants should follow the instructions given by Bigg Boss, the voice of authority in the house.
- The contestants should not engage in any physical violence, verbal abuse, or personal attacks with other housemates.
- The contestants should not damage any property or equipment in the house.
- The contestants should not reveal any personal or confidential information about themselves or others outside the house.
- The contestants should not communicate with anyone outside the house, including their family, friends, media, or fans.
- The contestants should participate in all the tasks and challenges assigned by Bigg Boss.
- The contestants should nominate and vote for the eviction of other housemates every week.
- The contestants should accept the public vote as the final decision for their eviction or stay in the house.
- The contestants should abide by the rules and regulations of the show at all times, or face the consequences of breaking them.
