CBSE 12th Result 2018, CBSE Results 2018, CBSE Class 12 Results, CBSE Class 12 Board Exam Results: The Central Board of Secondary Education conducted class 12 exams this year from 5th March to 27th April. The results are to be declared today around 12:30 PM as per the official update from the CBSE Board. The candidates can check the CBSE 12th result 2018 on cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in official board websites.
CBSE Class 12 Result live updates: The result has been declared at 12:30 PM on cbse.nic.in website. Since more than 11 lakh people search for the result at the same time, there may be server issue due to heavy traffic. We request the candidates to check their results a few minutes later if there are any server errors.
More than 11 lakh students appeared for the class 12 CBSE exam this year. The result will also be featured exclusively on Google Search and CBSE result in the mobile app. The candidates can search for “CBSE Result” in Google search and enter their exam roll number to get the result displayed on the same web page.
About CBSE Board:
The jurisdiction of the Board is extensive and stretches beyond the national geographical boundaries. As a result of the reconstitution, the erstwhile ‘Delhi Board of Secondary Education’ was merged with the Central Board and thus all the educational institutions recognized by the Delhi Board also became a part of the Central Board. Subsequently, all the schools located in the Union Territory of Chandigarh.
Andaman and Nicobar Island, Arunachal Pradesh, the state of Sikkim, and now Jharkhand, Uttaranchal and Chhattisgarh have also got affiliation with the Board.
From 309 schools in 1962, the Board as on 26.07.2017 has 19316 schools in India and 211 schools in 25 foreign countries. There are 1118 Kendriya Vidyalayas, 2734 Government/Aided Schools, 14860 Independent Schools, 590 Jawahar Novodaya Vidyalayas and 14 Central Tibetan Schools.
Steps to Check CBSE 12th Result
- Visit cbse.nic.in official website.
- Click on CBSE 12th Result 2018.
- Enter the registration number and click on the submit button.
- The result will be displayed on the screen.
- Take a printout of the result for the future reference.
As many as 28 lakh students registered to appear for the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 examinations this year. Over 16,38,420 candidates registered for the Class 10 exam conducted at 4,453 centres across India and 78 centres abroad. For Class 12, 11,86,306 candidates registered and the exams were held at 4,138 centres in India and 71 centres outside the country.
