cbse.nic.in CBSE Board Result Declared: CBSE made an official announcement that 12th Board result expected to declare on 28th May. According to the latest update, Class 12 result will be declared tomorrow morning. Students can check their result on cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in website.
More than 10 lakh students written their CBSE 12th exams on the various exam centers are waiting for their results today. It looks like result declaration will be delayed few more days as High Court asked CBSE Board yesterday to reinstate the ‘marks moderation policy’.
All India pass percentage this year is 82, a percent lower than last year’s 83 percent.
If moderation policy has to be applied, it will take a lot of time scientifically and of course, the result will be delayed without any doubt. But there is no official from the Board regarding High Court order and result postpones date. CBSE 10th result is expected to be declared on 2nd June 2017.
“If the results were not going to be announced, though several news stories online were saying it would be, CBSE should have provided some information to quell the rumors,” said Gargi Ranawat, who has received a conditional offer from a foreign university. “It was a very stressful day. My entire future depends on these marks.”
Students who fail in up to two subjects can appear for compartment exams which take place in the months of July and August. If the students manage to clear the subjects during their compartment exams, they are declared ‘Passed’ and those who fail in the compartment exam must repeat Class 12 and reappear for examination again in the following year.
After this issue, CBSE Board confirmed that they will update the result declaration date at least 24 hours before on their official websites cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in. Still, there are no official updates from Exam Results and India Results regarding the postpone of the result as their website shows results will be updated today morning.
