CBSE UGC NET 2017 Result Declared: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) National Eligibility Test (NET) 2017 result is about to be announced on mid May, Thursday evening. The students who written their CBSE UGC NET exam can check their result on official website.

The examination of CBSE NET was conducted on 22nd January this year and answer key of UGC NET was released recently on website. CBSE conducts UGC NET exam twice every year for the eligibility of Indian nationals for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). The January 2017 NET exam were conducted for 83 subjects at 88 exam centers. UGC rules specify the age limit for appearing in the JRF category as per the government’s reservation policy.

The examination pattern is decided by the UGC, which at present, consists of three papers. The Paper I assesses a candidate’s teaching and research aptitude and general awareness, reasoning and basic arithmetic. Candidates qualifying for the JRF category become eligible to receive UGC monthly fellowship for pursuing research in the subject of their post-graduation or in a related field. They also are eligible for teaching as Assistant Professor. Candidates appearing only for UGC-NET certificate become eligible for being appointed as Assistant Professor in colleges and universities across India.

Hi harry, we have lost trust on the news spread by website owners, who repeatedly give different dates of the result declaration of CBSE NET JAN 2017..but nothing goes right upto another date is may last week. i thing out of these many guesswork dates, somedate will be confirmed. i suggest you to find information from trusted sources(cbse) and get back with right info..hope you will get back with latest update harry

  3. Comment: mera tho double century clicks thak kuch faayida nahi..these unofficial website admins just guess , no authenticated info…even CBSE doesn’t notify of result date. am vexed
