Viacom18 owns and operates various channels in India, from 19th February 2018, their another regional General Entertainment Channel to be launched in High and Standard Definition (HD and SD). The Channel NXT and ZAP renamed as Colors Tamil and Colors Tamil HD.
Colors Tamil will run with the 22 hours of their original content every week. After entering into seven languages, it is their eighth Television channel to the fast-growing and discerning Tamil entertainment market. When compared with the top three Tamil entertainment channels such as Sun TV, STAR Vijay, and ZEE Tamil, this brand new will come up with directly inverse.
