Ready to hit the box office on fire, Jabariya Jodi is all set for release on 9th of August this year. The movie is starring Siddhartha Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra and this is something which makes the movie exciting for the audience due to the fact that they are sharing the screen after five years. The stars right now are busy in promotions and all just before the big release of the movie. The movie is all set to grab the eyeballs and let’s take a look at why ‘ Jabariya Jodi ‘ is a good approach and what makes it a must-watch.
The concepts and elements of the movie
The movie took hold on a totally different concept which is Pakadwa Vivah that is basically groom kidnapping. Directed by Prashant Singh the movie in a less serious tone tries to address a very serious issue that can be still seen in parts of Bihar. The quirky trailer made the audience excited and also gave a hint of the comical approach to the whole issue.

The theme of the movie is Jabariya Vivah that is forced marriage and to be honest the theme and the concept seems pretty unusual and interesting both at the same time. It is being said by people that the name for the title was given by Siddhartha Malhotra and earlier the title was ‘ Shotgun Jodi.’
The return of Siddhartha Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra after five years
The last movie both the stars did together was “Hasee to Phasee” which was a romantic comedy and was also not a big hit maybe because the concept of that movie was a bit experimental compared to the typical romantic comedy. This is not the case with the upcoming movie as the audience seems already excited.
Siddhartha’s personality as a Bihari boy
Siddhartha Malhotra is a well know actor and is appreciated for the various roles he played in the movie till now and ‘Jabariya Jodi’ seems to add another character to this list. The film portrays the character of Siddhartha as a typical Bihari guy who has this business of groom kidnapping. In order to understand the small details of his character and to get hold of the Bihari accent, Siddhartha Malhotra interacted with people who really are in the business is groom kidnapping in the region of Bihar.
The movie as a whole
Apart from the trailer, something which made the audience to tap their feet on the floor was the movie’s song which was again full of energy. The song which grabbed attention the most is ‘UP Hile Zilla Hile’ that is a remake of an old Bhojpuri song of the same name. With Siddhartha Malhotra grooving on the song and the added special appearance made the song entirely mesmerizing to both ears and to eyes.
So, this was all about the movie and all of it seemed pretty much like the elements of a Bollywood blockbuster.
