Tamil Nadu 10th Results 2017 Revaluation: As per the schedule, the Tamil Nadu directorate of government examinations (DGE) declared the TN 10th results for the students those who all appeared on the March 2017 examination on May 19th morning at 10:00 AM. The overall pass percentage of this year in Class 10th is 94.4 percent, it is 0.8 percent higher than the last year. As like the previous years, girls scored more pass marks than the boys in this academic year, 2016-17. Nearly 9.87 lakh students appeared for the board examination in this March 2017. The strength of boys and the girls slightly equal with each other, nearly 4.9 lakh boys and 4.9 lakh girls appeared in this examination.
According to the announcement of educational minister Sengottaiyan, the government didn’t release the rank list and also didn’t announce the state ranks for class 10th and class 12th in this year.
Some of the students those who all not cleared/failed in this 10th examination are looking to apply for the revaluation (Retotalling) to get the pass mark. If the student is confident about their performance in the board examination, they can apply revaluation by using the procedure given by the government.

Tamil Nadu 10th Results 2017 Revaluation Procedures, Last date, Amount
Students those who all willing to apply for the revaluation can apply from May 19th Friday to May 22nd Monday. Students can’t able to apply on Sunday (May 21). Also, in the May 22nd, students should apply for the revaluation within 5.45 pm.
Update: The Directorate of Government Examination, Tamil Nadu extended the date up to May 24. So the students can apply for the revaluation till 05:45 PM at their Schools (for regular) and examination centers (for private) candidates.
Where can you apply 10th revaluation?Â
The Students can only apply revaluation through their Schools.
For the Private candidates, you all can apply through your examination centres.
Revaluation Amount
For the first language (Part 1) and the second language (English – Part 2), students should pay Rs 305 per subject.
Other subjects (Part 3) such as Mathematics, Social Science, and Science. The students should pay Rs 205 per subject while applying for the revaluation of their Class 10 (2017).
For the Optional Language (Part 4) subject, students should pay Rs 205 to retotalling the paper.
NOTE: Students should keep the acknowledgement receipt after applying to the revaluation. Students can only get their results by using the application (receipt) number.
The official revaluation result date and the official website will announce by the government later.
