Tamilrockers, one of the most wanted piracy website which uploads all the latest Tamil movies, Bollywood and Hollywood movies torrent website owner has been arrested by the Triplicane D-1 Police according to the source. The website has several administrators who upload the new movies and run the website in the different off-shore hosting companies to make the website stay alive.
UPDATE: As per the source, it is not the Tamilrockers admin. The one who got arrested was TamilGun.com admin Gauri Shankar.
For the past 3 years, Vishal, most popular Tamil actor warned Tamilrockers to shut down the website. Today, Tamilrockers 3rd level admin Gauri Shankar has been arrested in Chennai.
Tamilrockers admin Gauri Shankar (one of the admin) is now under the police custody to enquire more details about level 2 and level 1 admins. But the biggest problem in the film industry will be only solved if top admin and owner of the website get arrested.
The native place of admin Gauri Shankar is Thirupathur. As Vishal promised earlier, he finally arrested an admin which is just a beginning according to the film industry.
