Bollywood actress Kiara Advani has reportedly bowed out of Don 3, the latest installment in Farhan Akhtar’s action-packed franchise, following the announcement of her pregnancy with husband Sidharth Malhotra. The decision, described as mutual, comes as she prepares for a new chapter in her personal life while wrapping up existing film commitments.
A Short-Lived Casting in the Don Franchise
Back in February 2024, Kiara was confirmed as the female lead in Don 3 opposite Ranveer Singh. The news created a buzz, as it would have been her first collaboration with both Singh and director Farhan Akhtar. However, just a month after the announcement, things took a turn when Kiara and Sidharth revealed their pregnancy on March 1, 2025.
Industry sources suggest that soon after sharing the news with fans, Kiara decided to step away from Don 3. Given that the film’s production is slated to begin in 2025, she reportedly felt it best to withdraw rather than delay the project.
Prioritizing Family Over New Roles

Despite stepping away from Don 3, Kiara remains busy with two major films:
