Adobe Introduces AI Assistant for Document Workflows
Adobe has launched AI Assistant in beta, a new conversational engine that integrates with Reader and Acrobat workflows. AI Assistant, powered by generative AI models, can generate summaries and insights from long documents, answer questions, and format information for emails, reports, and presentations. Users can interact with AI Assistant using natural language and voice commands, and get citations and links to the original sources for verification and traceability. Adobe claims that AI Assistant can help users save time, improve accuracy, and enhance creativity. AI Assistant is available now in beta for Acrobat Standard and Pro Individual and Teams subscription plans on desktop and web in English, and will be coming to Reader desktop customers in English in the next few weeks.
Menlo Security Launches Secure Enterprise Browser
Menlo Security, a cloud-browser security platform provider, has announced its Secure Enterprise Browser solution, which is powered by Menlo Security’s Menlo Secure Cloud Browser. The Secure Enterprise Browser provides several new capabilities that allow it to manage local browser security policies within Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. These capabilities include the Menlo Security Browser Posture Manager, which assesses and analyzes browser configurations and attack surfaces, the Menlo Browser Extension and Menlo Security Client, which extend zero-trust to more users, devices, and applications, and the Menlo Security Last-Mile Data Protection, which extends copy-paste control, user-input limits, watermarking and data masking to the local browser endpoint. Menlo Security claims that its Secure Enterprise Browser can help enterprises reduce the risk of browser-based attacks, improve user experience, and lower IT costs.
NextPlane Provides LLM Interoperability for UCaaS and CCaaS Platforms
NextPlane, a provider of interoperability solutions for unified communications (UC) and contact center (CC) platforms, has announced its LLM interoperability solution for UCaaS and CCaaS platforms. LLM, or large language models, are generative AI models that can produce natural language content and insights from data. NextPlane’s LLM interoperability solution enables UCaaS and CCaaS platforms to communicate and collaborate with each other using LLMs, such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Zoom AI Companion, Webex AI Assistant, and Salesforce Einstein Copilot. NextPlane claims that its LLM interoperability solution can help enterprises improve cross-platform collaboration, customer service, and business outcomes.
Tableau Pulse Now Available
Tableau, a provider of data visualization and analytics software, has announced the availability of Tableau Pulse, a new feature that leverages generative AI to create and deliver personalized data stories to users. Tableau Pulse uses natural language generation (NLG) to automatically generate insights and narratives from data, and natural language understanding (NLU) to understand user preferences and feedback. Tableau Pulse then delivers the data stories to users via email, mobile app, or web browser, and allows them to interact with the data and ask questions. Tableau claims that Tableau Pulse can help users stay informed, engaged, and empowered with data.
Sennheiser and Q-SYS Joint Solution Certified for Cisco Collaboration Devices
Sennheiser, a provider of audio solutions, and Q-SYS, a provider of audio, video, and control systems, have announced that their joint solution has been certified for use with Cisco’s Collaboration Devices. The joint solution consists of Sennheiser’s TeamConnect Ceiling 2 microphone and Q-SYS’s Core 110f processor, which provide high-quality audio and flexible integration for Cisco’s Webex Room and Webex Room Kit devices. The joint solution also supports Cisco’s Intelligent Proximity feature, which allows users to pair their mobile devices with the Cisco devices and control the audio settings. Sennheiser and Q-SYS claim that their joint solution can help enterprises enhance their meeting and collaboration experiences.
