Wahaca Paddington has unveiled “Paloma Grove,” a limited-time experience that pays homage to the classic Mexican cocktail, the Paloma. From April 29th to May 31st, patrons can indulge in a vibrant fusion of flavors, artfully blending tradition with contemporary twists.

A Sip of Culture

The Paloma, a beloved staple in Mexican cocktail culture, is often eclipsed by its more famous cousin, the Margarita. Yet, at Wahaca Paddington, the Paloma takes center stage. Guests are welcomed with a fruity, Paloma-inspired drink, setting the tone for an evening of gastronomic delight. The immersive experience, set in a treehouse-inspired enclave, promises a feast for the senses.

The menu, a testament to Wahaca’s commitment to authenticity and innovation, features starters like Smoky Sonoran Hummus with Tortilla Chips and Toasted Crickets, a nod to Mexico’s edible insect tradition. Sweet Potato & Feta Taquito and Zesty Bean Tostadas offer a vegetarian-friendly prelude to the main event.

A Feast for the Senses

As the evening unfolds, diners are treated to a selection of sharing plates. The Lamb Barbacoa, slow-cooked to perfection, falls off the bone, its rich flavors mingling with the smoky notes of the accompanying sauces. The Chimichurri Cauliflower presents a bold, herbaceous alternative, while the Grilled Whole Achiote Seabass is a pescatarian’s dream, its flesh flaking away under the fork, infused with the earthy warmth of achiote.

The meal concludes with a palate-cleansing blood orange sorbet, followed by a Tres Leches Tiramisu, a dessert that marries the moist, milky goodness of tres leches cake with the coffee-infused decadence of tiramisu.

Wahaca Paddington isn’t just about tantalizing taste buds; it’s also leading the charge in eco-conscious dining. The restaurant operates on 100% renewable energy, reflecting Wahaca’s broader commitment to sustainability.
